Time to Bus Readings Availability
The Time To Bus readings for initiating ATSs are available on two different reports; Time to Bus Compliance and Time to Bus Detail Report.
The Time to Bus Compliance Report provides a list of ATSs that were the initiating ATS in an event that is on a critical or life safety service branch and the ATS satisfied the 10 second time to bus NFPA requirement.
The Time to Bus Detail Report provides a list of ATSs that were the initiating ATS in an event that is on a critical or life safety service branch and the ATS may or may not have satisfied the 10 second time to bus NFPA requirement.
We are working on providing the time to bus for all ATSs of an outage event to be part of the two reports listed above in the near future.
The short answer as to why we only record the time to bus for initiating ATSs is because the Load Test is only a simulation of an outage and only the initiating ATS transfer is instantaneous. After the Initiating ATS switches the application has a delay imposed before the next Block of 5 ATSs are switched and each subsequent Block of ATS after that. So all other ATSs time to bus would be inaccurate for compliance. The best ATS time to bus readings are going to come from a true outage given the reason we are working on providing this information to the two Time to Bus Reports.
The Time to Bus Compliance Report and Time to Bus Detail Report are available from the Compliance Reports page in the application. Here's how to get there:
- Select the Operations Menu
- Select Event History
- Click on the report icon in the header and the application displays a reporting window
- Select Time to Bus Report
