How to view a Building's Portfolio Drift

Portfolio Drift (optional app)

The Portfolio Drift allows a user to visually assess portfolio groups that may have drifted from their historic consumption patterns.  This application is meter driven and allows the user to trend the base load of a building/facility to determine whether the underlying energy demand of the building/facility has increased or decreased. The cell size represents the average the data point for the time period selected amongst the other data points.  The cell color represents the drift of the data point from the previous time period.

Energy – Portfolio Drift  

How to view a building’s or Equipment’s portfolio drift:

  1. Logon to Aurora Application from the local server
  2. Select the Energy menu option
  3. Select the Portfolio menu option
  4. Select one or more of the Site, Building(s) or Equipment(s) from the list on the left hand side
  5. Select a From Time Period (yesterday, last 24 hours, last 7 days, last 30 days and last year)
  6. Select the  Refresh icon to display the data
  7. Hover over a cell and the comparison data is displayed 

Note:  after selecting new criteria the Refresh icon must be re-selected to display the new data 

How to download the data from the chart:

  1. After a Portfolio chart has been created/displayed then click on the  Download icon and the application displays the option to Open, Save or Cancel the operation
  2. Select Open or Save and the application displays the data in Excel
